Domestic electrical testing is very important. There is very little point implementing Regulations to oversee the way in which domestic electrical installations are carried out if it is not verified that they have been followed.
The UK has a reasonably good record of electrical safety, but there are still over 40 deaths and nearly 5000 injuries from electrical accidents and fires that occur in our homes each and every year. Most of the accidents in the home involve faults in, or misuse of, domestic appliances, plugs or connectors.
